Verdict? Not recommended

We don’t generally do a “short review” of dishes we eat; we like to give a review a proper beginning, middle and end. That said, from time to time we will eat something and just … get … exhausted … with how mediocre it is. Hopefully you will forgive, then, the skipping of the usual preamble, and getting right to the point.

The scene? Harbour Galley. The dish? Shrimp Salad.

It’s dismal.

The shrimp is flavorless. The avocado isn’t much better (but it has a hint of lemon juice, so the dominant flavor is … lemon). The feta is boring. The tomatoes are just OK. The bacon is dry, unremarkable, and weak. The egg is phoning it in. And the bed of lettuce seems to be there just for show, because it doesn’t add a thing.

This is a depressing salad. Its ingredients exist, near as I can tell, solely to be drenched in Ranch dressing. It’s nothing you should order. Avoid, avoid, avoid.
