Elaine went with the lamb.
I have envy.
The dish is elegance on a plate. It’s two perfectly-cooked lamb chops, accompanied by a dollop of potato puree, some Brussels sprouts, and small chunks of potato. Brown sauce has been thoughtfully supplied for extra flavor.
Everything works. The lamb chops are soft, and pop with flavor. Their herb crust adds crunch and texture. The side veg adds something to every bite – creaminess from the mashed potato, green leafiness from the sprouts, a little straight-up carbohydrate from the potato chunks.
There’s not a single bad note on this plate. It’s happiness from start to finish. An easy, easy, easy recommend.
